Rembrandt's is pleased that Eastern State Penitentiary has decided to do Winter Tours.
The Penitentiary offers an exciting addition for your visit to Philadelphia. Being the first and
most historic penitentiary in the world we believe that it should be available to the touring
public year round, and are happy that the task force was able to make this happen.
After having seen the Penitentiary it may come as no surprise to you that it has become
the second most popular stop in Philadelphia, after Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.
It is of interest that the Penitentiary, aside from being the most expensive building in the world
at the time it was built, was situated on the highest point in the city. Rembrandt's shares the
same landscape as the penitentiary and from the second floor one can see the city skyline, albeit
vastly different from 1829, when the penitentiary opened.
Winter Tour Menus
(Menus include a tour ticket)
Rembrandt's offers a special touring lunch menu for both visitors or large
groups which include an Eastern State Penitentiary Tour Ticket.
Tour times are from December to March and are scheduled at 11:00AM, 1:00PM and 3:00PM weekdays.
A 12:00PM and 2:00PM tour are added on weekends.
The visitors menu includes a Soup or Salad, Choice of Entree, Dessert, Non-Alcoholic Beverage
and Tour Ticket. Price is $28.00 plus Tax and Gratuity. Children's Menu, ages 7 - 12, price is $17.00 plus Tax and Gratuity
