Presents a

4-course Halloween Dinner and “Terror Behind The Walls”  Tour

In Celtic folklore, Halloween was an end-of-summer ritual.  The Celts believed that on the last day of the harvest year, the recently dead returned to visit the living.  Those spirits that had been treated kindly in life and in death could be counted on for pleasant company, and it was common for families to set a spare place at the dinner table to accommodate their unseen guest.  Offerings of food and treats kept the spirits happy.  But woe to those whose abuses left sour feelings among the departed.

To this end, we invite you to intermingle with the living at Rembrandt’s. A time of year when the air is crisp and our bodies crave those soul-comforting foods of fall.  Rembrandt’s offers a kindly dinner for those who choose to relax and dine as they wait their turn to visit the ghouls at Eastern State Penitentiary for the “Terror Behind the Walls”  tour.   Rembrandt’s, if requested , will happily set an additional plate at your table for the spirits to enjoy for a slight additional charge.
