Craig's ListInquirer Restaurant Critic It takes more than an afternoon to sample all the good pizza in Philadelphia. Here are some other suggested stops in the hunt for the perfect pie. Illuminare, 2321 Fairmount Ave., 215-765-0202. Try the simple margherita. Rembrandt's, 741 N. 23d St., 215-763-2228. The hot brick oven makes a credible New Haven-style thin-crusted pie. Ristorante Pesto, 1915 S. Broad St., 215-336-8380. The wood-fired arugula pizza (with bruschetta and prosciutto) is unique. La Fourno, 636 South St., 215-627-9000. The wood-fired oven makes tasty Neapolitan-style pies. New Wave Cafe, 784 S. Third St., 215-922-8484. One of the better grilled pizzas in town. People's Pizza, 1500 Chapel Ave. (at Route 38), Cherry Hill, 856-665-6575. It's not quite Trenton, but the all-tomato pies (and hearty stuffed pizzas) are worth a stop on the way to the mall. Lazaro's Pizza House, 1743 South St., 215-545-2775. In the cheap neighborhood pizzeria genre, this staple in the Graduate Hospital area is hard to beat. Carambola, 1650 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, 215-542-0900 Great for grilled pizzas.
